What Yahoo Backup Tool Does

Connect securely using Yahoo App Passwords without exposing your master account password. Fully compliant with Yahoo 2FA.

Emails stream securely from Yahoo's mail servers directly to your local computer over 256-bit encrypted SSL/TLS.

The app connects from your computer to your mail provider. Check the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

Retains the exact folder structure from Yahoo Mail including custom folders, nested sub-folders, and standard mailboxes.

Preview email bodies, sender/recipient details, and attachments directly inside the application before downloading.

Select only the specific folders you wish to back up to save time and storage space.

Filter emails by 'From' and 'To' dates to archive specific tax years, fiscal quarters, or project windows.

Detects duplicate messages across threads and folders, ensuring only one clean copy of each email is saved.

If your internet disconnects, the backup resumes smoothly from where it stopped without duplicating emails.

Save Yahoo emails into Outlook-ready PST files with automatic splitting to avoid large file issues.

Export to standard formats compatible with Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or searchable PDF files for archival.

Move Yahoo emails directly to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or hosted IMAP servers in a single step.
