Q Does removing duplicates delete files permanently or move them to trash?
Marked duplicates are moved to the Quarantine Vault or your operating system's Recycle Bin / Trash, depending on the option you choose. Files in a OneDrive sync folder are synced, so moving or deleting them can also change your OneDrive account and other devices. Check the restore options in the app before you confirm.
Q How does Prism detect duplicate files with different names or dates?
Prism compares file contents, not just names or dates. Files with different names or timestamps but identical contents are grouped as duplicates. Review each group before you clean.
Q Can I preview photos and files before deleting them?
Yes. The preview screen shows duplicate sets side by side with thumbnails, file sizes, folder locations and modification dates. Nothing is removed until you confirm.
Q Does Prism upload my personal files or credentials to external cloud servers?
Prism scans files on your computer. This FAQ does not describe any upload of your files; if you are unsure, check the app and your OneDrive settings.
Q What happens if a scan is interrupted or takes a long time?
Large scans can take a while. If a scan is interrupted, reopen the app and check whether it offers to resume.
Q How will I receive my license key after purchasing?
